Wednesday, March 1 saw another well attended technical training night for the Narooma Camera Club when 25 people came along to learn how to operate the various menus, buttons and dials on their cameras.

The evening was aimed at beginners and less experienced photographers with the intention of telling them how to take their cameras off Automatic and to learn how shutter speed, aperture and ISO all work together to give better control. Members then practised by taking photographs of items on table tops.
The club was pleased to welcome three new members on the night.
On Wednesday, March 15, the club held its monthly competition. The judge for the evening was Ken Foster who is an experienced NSW Federation of Camera Clubs registered judge. Thanks go to Ken for travelling from Batemans Bay and for carrying out a challenging task.
The set subject for the evening was “Long exposure”.

The Narooma Camera Club will be holding its annual exhibition in the Montague Room at Club Narooma from 6pm on Good Friday to 4pm on Easter Sunday. Entry is free and there will be a people’s choice competition.
