There are some fascinating stories behind the names of many of Kiama’s streets.
Kiama and District Historical Society will host an event on Wednesday, March 29 at 2.30pm.
Susan Lark, family history officer at the Kiama Family History Centre will be talking about the origin of the area’s street names.
Her talk will cover some of Kiama’s major streets, and will offer an opportunity to learn more about this aspect of the town's history.
The talk will be followed by afternoon tea and there is no charge for this event.
The event will take place at the Kiama Family History Centre, located on Railway Parade.
