Echo, whose mother is a white poodle and father is a chocolate Labrador, also picked up gongs for Best Behaved Pet and a second in Pet Most like its Owner (Jesse).
The first-time Pet Show entrants described their two-year-old star pooch as friendly, playful, easy to train and a keen swimmer.
They said apart from the Pet Show, their favourite part of the Kiama Show was the rides.
Jess and Halle were recently presented with the Joske Family Perpetual Trophy on Echo’s behalf by Helen and Merryn Joske.
This is the fourth year the Joske family have sponsored the popular Pet Show.
Merryn said they continued to be involved because they loved animals.
“The trophy is in memory of (dad) Robert who loved animals, dogs in particular,’’ she said.
“We wanted something to honour his memory and something good for the kids to have.
“Lots of families sponsor parts of our show to keep the family connection with the community.
“This is something I could do personally to keep the memory of Dad alive.”
The 2017 Pet Show had 35 entries in nine categories.
