The famous sequence, which involves Andrew Lincoln's character expressing his love for a freshly-married Keira Knightley on her doorstep, has been repeated and parodied in countless movies and TV shows ever since.
Fans have, understandably, gone into a frenzy after it was revealed Andrew Lincoln would bring out the cue cards 13 years later for Love Actually's 10-minute sequel. Some are even speculating that this means Lincoln and Knightley's characters will finally end up together.
However, Emma Freud - the wife of Love Actually director Richard Curtis - has hinted that Knightley remains happily married.

But the producer and script editor has simultaneously fed the rumour mill by also tweeting that Lincoln's character is "still in love" with Keira Knightley 13 years later.
It was 13 years ago. There is more facial hair now. But he still loves her.... #rednosedayactually pic.twitter.com/0Zhz341Jj4??? emma freud (@emmafreud) March 8, 2017
Noticeably absent from Frued's tweets, however, has been Emma Thompson's character. Her on-screen husband, Alan Rickman, died last year. As a result, Thompson's character will not appear in the Red Nose Day reboot.
Freud has also revealed Hugh Grant's character is still married to his former assistant, Natalie.
Our pm is still married. And she's still lovely. #rednosedayactually pic.twitter.com/MGtUVDGiBE??? emma freud (@emmafreud) March 5, 2017
The production schedule for the sequel has been extremely tight. The reboot was only announced last month.
Filming kicked off in late February and wrapped up on Thursday morning. The spinoff is due to air on the BBC on March 25.
