The “sustainable cooking” show will showcase freshly caught produce from the ocean to the bush in locations around and nearby the Illawarra.
Wilson, 47, said each of the six episodes will educate the viewer about which animals to take and which to leave behind plus the health benefits of eating wild, lean and unprocessed meats.
“Instead of going to the shops to get the fresh food we go to the bush, or we go to the ocean or a river,” the Stanwell Park resident said.
“[It] aims to show how, with a bit of planning, we can all incorporate a little hunter gatherer into our everyday food consumption.”
Wilson is joined by Shane Simpson, “the hunter”, and Andrew Dawson, “the chief”.
