Held on January 5, the annual Duck Derby aims to raise funds for the Gerringong Mens Shed.
Member Graham Hanna said the day was a success.
“The local support we have received has been fantastic,” he said.
“We are trying to raise money for the Mens Shed [which] has been built. At the moment we are waiting for Council approval, and need some extra funds for a few more pieces to get it up and running.
“[This event] has been a great success.”
Mr Hanna said the Mens Shed will be beneficial to a number of locals.
“There are a lot of men down here that have retired and it is an opportunity to get together,” he said.
“A number of distinguished gentleman can get together to do projects and things for the community with a focus on mental health.”
