Jai Raymond Taylor, 25, appeared in Nowra District Court on Friday before Judge Ian McClintock charged with drive while disqualified, police pursuit, driving recklessly, supplying a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Taylor, who had been staying at a Sanctuary Point address, was arrested as part of an investigation into the alleged supply of methamphetamine in the area.
About 10.15am on May 12 police from the Shoalhaven Local Area Command, Southern Region OSG, Traffic and Highway Patrol and the Dog Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Anabel Place, Sanctuary Point.
At a similar time, police attempted to stop a Holden Commodore on The Wool Lane, Sanctuary Point but the vehicle allegedly failed to stop, and a pursuit started.
Police said Taylor was at the wheel of the vehicle in the driveway of The Wool Lane Sporting Complex and Cammeray Drive.
A short time later, the car was dumped and Taylor was arrested after a short foot pursuit.
Taylor was found with methamphetamines and more drugs were found during the search of the Sanctuary Point home.
Police also found $1000 in cash they say was the proceeds of crime.
Judge McClintock sentenced him to an aggregate term of 20 months, with a non-parole period of nine months.
