The winners on the day were Vera Collins, Cathy Dawson and Stella Heidtmann with the runners up Shirley Swan, Gaye Reynolds and Ann Walker.
The Mixed Triples Championship was taken out by R. Milton, J. Kirk and M. Miller who defeated C. Rymer, A. Schofield and S. Wills 23-17.
In the first round of the Mixed Fours Championship S. Heidtmann, J. Brownlie, J. Heidtmann and A. Rogers beat R. Jones, B. Campbell, T. Jones and R. Campbell 23-15. In Wednesday’s social bowls the winners were A. Franks, W. Gorissen and W. Montefiore with the runners up J. Tomlinson and B. Hudson.
Thursday’s pairs was won by P. Mead and L. Cocksedge with the runners-up J. Twist and S. Wills.
Saturday’s social bowls was won by D. Coughlan, A. Walker and J. Moncreiff with the runners-up H. Smith, G. Brown and W. Montefiore.
