The Spring Heifer Classic is designed for handlers 25 years and under and for heifers two years and under.
The day is designed to highlight the current crop of heifers heading into the local show season and to encourage young handlers to get more time in and experience the show ring.
Judge was local Stuart Lockhart who had a quality field of heifers to judge.
Junior champion was the Justin and Libby Walsh, Jaspers Brush Holstein entry Waljasper Sid Suzette shown by Olivia Handebo.
It proved to be a big day for Olivia who also led senior and grand champion, with a Jersey, Bushlea RV Crystalane 2nd for Robbie Wilson, of Jamberoo.
Five breeds of dairy cows were exhibited on the day, with the show attracting a good crowd of spectators.
