The Animal Welfare League, Eurobodalla Branch, has three female cats ready for adoption; Puss is a dark tortoiseshell, 5 years old; she is very playful and gives her carer lots of enjoyment watching her antics; Gabbi is a patched tabby, 6 years old, and follows her carer around the house and is always looking for a lap to sit on; Emma is a muted tortoiseshell,l ; 5 years old. She is a shy girl and would respond well to a "cat" person. And we still have Tasha, the nine-month-old female foxie cross – a beautiful girl needing an active and loving family.

We are trying to come up with different ways of raising funds for our work of rehoming unwanted animals and educating the public about the benefits of desexing our cats and dogs.
We raise funds through jumble sales; Tailwaggers and through the kindness of people like the Bay Players who give their profits to us for one of their performances.
We have held Promise Auctions and Trivia Nights! We are at the markets selling raffle tickets and talking to the public and make dog treats for sale. This year we will be at Petstock in Bateman’s Bay running a Christmas special. Bring your pet along to have a photo take with Santa and our special dog, Cleo, on November 26 – more information on that later.
However, do you have a good idea to help us raise much needed funds? If so, please phone our lovely liaison officer, Elaine on 0410 016 612 and let her know.
Please also be aware that snakes are about – one member of our branch found a snake in the sitting room, courtesy of her curious kitten. WIRES can help if you find a snake or can put you in touch with someone qualified. If your pet is bitten do not delay in getting it to the vet urgently.
And not just snakes. Ticks are still out in numbers. Please check your pet each day.
The Animal Welfare League, promotes responsible pet ownership and all our animals ready for adoption have been de-sexed, vaccinated, wormed and vet checked.
