First held in 2010, the Wall to Wall is a non-political event for serving and retired members of the police force, friends, family and supporters of policing.
Assistant Commissioner Gary Worboys said the event was significant to the policing community.
“It’s really about a group of police and the police community getting together … and remembering those police who have been killed in the line of duty,” he said.
More than 2000 bikes rode into Canberra yesterday, where a National Police Memorial was held to acknowledge those fallen in the police force.
