They will be shown at the Old Fire Station from Friday, September 2. They depict different aspects of Kiama and its surrounds, and were painted by Lloyd Rees’ architectural students in 1962.
The Lloyd Rees Legacy Project has been led by Bobbie Miller and Andrea Hope.
The paintings have been cleaned and restored by Christabel and Auguste Blackman, and framed by Mrs Hope. Funds have been raised by the students and school P&C, as well as by friends, relatives and the architects.
Rees, who had a cottage at Werri Beach, put Gerringong and Kiama on the map with his acclaimed paintings.
The exhibition will be on until Tuesday, September 6 from 10am to 4pm daily.
