Members of the society are planning a 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 10 at 7.30pm at the museum.
Dr Roslyn Russell, a historian and museum consultant from Canberra will be the guest speaker, on the topic of ‘Objects, Stories, Identity: 25 Years of Gerringong Museum’.
In 1991, the museum building was erected by society members, with the help of local tradesmen, on land donated by Kiama council.
Any interested parties are invited to attend the function being held at Gerringong Museum, located on Blackwood Street.
