Kiama Men’s Probus Club president Garry Funnell said the choir adds to the strength of the club.
“Of particular interest to many members is the choir,” he said.
“It performs at nursing and retirement homes as well as other events such as the local annual show and the Festival of Choirs.”
Founded in 1986, the Kiama Men’s Probus Club is a longstanding organisation for semi-retired and retired members of the community.
Mr Funnell said there are many benefits from being involved with Probus.
“People can benefit from the opportunity to keep an active mind, expand their interests and to enjoy the fun, fellowship and friendship of new friends,” he said.
“It currently takes members on day trips, overnight trips, coffee walks, trivia nights, dinners, croquet and many others.”
Kiama Men’s Probus Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9.15am at Kiama Bowling & Recreation Club.
If you are interested in joining, please contact president Garry Funnell on 4232 2210 or head along to the meeting.
