Claude Harris has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to the Albion Park community. Mr Harris has been part of the community’s NSW Rural Fire Service brigade since 1960 and is a life member. He also was an Albion Park Show Society member ‘’for many years’’, a Tongarra Museum volunteer since 1988 and an Industrial Arts Assistant at St Joseph’s Catholic High School for 14 years.
