ABOUT 9.40pm on Saturday, May 28 police observed a Subaru Forester travelling north on the Princes Hwy, Bega with its high beam on.
Police were travelling south at the time and completed a U-turn and stopped the vehicle.
The 64-year-old driver from the ACT was breath tested and a positive result recorded.
He was arrested, taken to Bega Police Station and issued a field court attendance notice for low range PCA.
He will appear at Bega Local Court and was issued a warning for the high beam offence.

Three bonsai plants worth $400 have been stolen from a garden area outside a unit in Imlay St, Eden.
The theft occurred sometime overnight on May 27 or early morning on May 28.
The plants were in ceramic pots.
Eden Police are investigating.

The was a break and enter into a clothing shop in Market St, Merimbula between 5pm on Friday, May 27 and the morning of Saturday, May 28.
Access was gained through a ground floor window and police are investigating.

Sometime between 3pm Saturday, May 28 and midnight, a Honda Accord was damaged in Orient St, Batemans Bay.
The vehicle was parked and unattended during that period.
Several thousands of dollars of damage was caused to the vehicle including scratches to the bonnet, drivers front guard and door, passenger front guard, front and rear doors.
The boot was dented as well.

Between 9am Wednesday, May 18 and Saturday, May 28 a property in Crag Rd, Batehaven was broken into.
An antique copper coffee table, TV, two heaters, microwave, toaster, blankets and bottles of alcohol were stolen.
Access was gained to the property by removing a flyscreen from a ground floor side window and the panel forced open.
Police have taken a report and will forensically examine the scene.
