Darcy Moore is an educator, blogger and photographer. He was recently awarded a NSW Premier’s Teaching Scholarship, travelling to the USA to learn more about DNA, citizen science and ‘Big History’.
Mr Moore has been working on a project whereby students study 13.8 billion years of history and have their DNA analysed as part of the course to learn about their ancestors’ route out of Africa.
Anyone can study the course online for free and arrange for their own DNA to be analysed as part of a citizen science project run by National Geographic. Come along and learn how.
