THE response to champion Shoalhaven cook Voni Muller’s first foray into publishing has been incredible, with the 91-year-old selling out 700 copies of her first book, My Favourite Recipes.

Mrs Muller had been urged by her family for many years to put her legendary recipes into print.
The book was released earlier this month and within two weeks sold all 700 editions.
“We were totally astonished,” said her daughter Cathy.
“We thought it would be popular but never expected anything like this.
“It has been incredible.”
Such has been the demand, a second print run of the book has been ordered and they should arrive in coming weeks and will be advertised when available.
All money raised from the sale of the book is being donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
