At home for the second time this year, the Power were eager to start the game strongly but only led by 2 points at quarter-time due to some inaccurate shots at goal.
But from there, the Power with better team work got their running game going and ran out the game restricting Bomaderry to only two majors for the rest of the game.
In the last quarter Kiama scored 11 goals to 1. The final score was Kiama 24.19 (163) to Bomaderry 6.10 (46).
Ben Williams finished with 6 goals, while Jack Mahony, Ben Hoctor and Michael Williams were best afield for the Power.
Earlier in the day, Kiama Power’s Division 2 team fought hard against a tough opposition in Ulladulla but were defeated 6.11 (47) to 13.12 (90).
Andrew Britton, Brent Lipscombe and Damien Clark all kicked 2 goals, with Matt Price having another strong game.
Next week the Power travel to Figtree to take on the Kangaroos.
