Those who drop by Anita’s Theatre on February 24 will get to see for themselves if McPherson lives up to all the hype.
McPherson will perform songs from his latest highly acclaimed album, Let The Good Times Roll, backed by his longtime four-piece band featuring Jimmy Sutton on upright bass, Jason Smay on drums, Ray Jacildo on keys and Doug Corcoran on saxophone, guitar and keys.
Produced by Mark Neill along with McPherson, Let The Good Times Roll is in his own words, ‘’is full of big, bombastic sounds; lots of guitars, and tons of percussion’’. It includes title track Bridge Builder and punk-inspired sounds of current single Head Over Heels This new music follows McPherson’s widely praised 2012 debut, Signs and Signifiers.
