Residents will meet at Black Beach at 3.45pm, before marching to the concert in protest against the proposal to force Kiama Municipal Council to merge with the City of Shoalhaven. 

The Keep Kiama Council Local Committee said the family event will alternate live performances with information about the consequences for the residents of Kiama, Gerringong, Jamberoo, Kiama Downs and Minnamurra if the plan proceeds.

Performers will include John Littrich and the Water Runner, No Such Thing and The Kiama Pipe Band, singers Penny Hartgerink and Sean Emmett and comedian Dave Evans from Laughter House Entertainment.

In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to The Pavilion at Kiama Showground.
