Vibe in Siesta Park said drivers had been queuing nearly half a kilometre down Caves Road since 8am on Friday morning to fill up their cars at the service station.
Shell in Dunsborough completely sold out of fuel on Friday while Shell in Busselton had unleaded, premium, a small amount of gas and had sold out of Diesel.
BP in Busselton and Vibe in Siesta Park reported no shortage of fuel.
Similar scenes were also reported by the Bunbury Mail after service stations in Bunbury were ordered to stop serving fuel due to the risk of fire.
Caltex Woolworths in Eaton operator Ryan Heaterman said they were ordered to stop serving fuel about 2pm on Thursday due to the risk of ash and embers causing a risk of fire if they came into contact with fuel.
On Friday morning the Caltex on Pratt Road Eaton got a drop of fuel and drivers were queuing to fill up their cars.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued a warning to motorists not to travel unless it was essential.
DFES said if people had to travel through the fire area then to fill up their car before departing.
It is believed Busselton and Dunsborough petrol stations will receive more fuel today.
