Blue Haven Care co-ordinator Myriam Marchant said the NDIS will benefit thousands of Australians.
“‘Bringing the NDIS to Kiama’ will be an information session for people living with a disability and their carers to support them with the transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme,” Mrs Marchant said.
“The NDIS will mean a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability through ensuring they continue to get the support they need.”
Attendees can expect to receive comprehensive information, including a question-and-answer panel, service provider stalls and guest speakers Glenda Pearson from Illawarra Interchange and Sharon Holtz, from Physical Disability Council of New South Wales.
Details: Kiama Pavilion, December 3, 10am-2pm. Barbecue lunch will be provided. RSVP November 27.
