Tina Harris and her group Lah-Lah has become so popular in concert and on television they have reached a point where they can no longer physically do children’s parties.
The last one was at the Lagoon, Wollongong in October.
It was organised by George and Jonni Nicolaou, who wanted to do something special for their children’s birthdays.
Ambrose and Evangelia appeared mesmerised to see their television heroes performing right before their very eyes.
Lah-Lah was in fine form in her home town and had all the children and adults clapping and dancing.
She revealed that Lah-Lah will be performing a major concert at the Woonona Bulli RSL Club on November 28 as part of a national tour.
The Lah-Lah’s have come a long way since it was formed by Tina and Mark Harris and performed its inaugural season in Sydney in January 2009.
The group also includes Matt Ottignon, Gary Daley and Nic Cecire.
It started in 2010 opening entertainment at The Domain for Australia Day and was then featured at the St Kilda Festival.
Lah-Lah aims to introduce children and their families to the world of music and musical instruments.
They can meet Mister Saxophone, Squeezy Sneezy the piano accordion, Tom Tom on drums, Buzz the Bandleader, Lola the Dancing Double Bass and Lah-Lah.
From TV shows on ABC KIDS, CBeebies, and the Seven Network to sell-out live concerts, Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band continue to perform for audiences throughout Australia.
Lah-Lah‘s very groovy music video clips and TV show Lah-Lah’s Adventures can be seen daily on ABC KIDS and CBeebies as well as online on ABC iview and the ABC KIDS iview app.
