Austinmer’s Shining Bird have been added to the bill, along with Gerringong-raised singer songwriter Le Pie in the latest list of musicians.
They’ll be joined by Melbourne indie-soul star Meg Mac, Perth three-piece Methyl Ethyl and singer-songwriter Ben Abraham.
In the first round of acts, organisers Handsome Tours revealed that Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Father John Misty, Ratatat, CW Stoneking, Mercury Rev, Jessica Pratt and Royal Headache would be on the bill.
The music industry welcomed news of the festival in August, with Double J raving about the quality of the line-up.
"It's very rare that we'd openly endorse every single act announced on a festival bill but so far, there isn't an act announced that we think you should miss," the Triple J spin-off said.
"Father John Misty released one of the best albums of 2015 in I Love You, Honeybear and Mercury Rev are one of the truly great psychedelic pop acts of the modern day."
Reminiscent of artsy festivals such as Meredith and the now-defunct Harvest, the laid-back Berry event also promises markets, movies and food and wine from Berry's surrounding farms.
Last week, Sydney craft beer label Young Henrys was revealed as Fairgrounds’ official alcohol partner and organisers announced the event’s outdoor cinema would screen My Neighbour Totoro and Searching For Sugar Man.
Kids under 12 get in free and can access a kids’ area, while over-18s can make use of the on-site camping.
Fairgrounds festival will be held in Hazelberry Park on December 5.
