Sapper and bomb-sniffer dog memorial contains layers of emotion

It's the end of another hard day in Afghanistan or Iraq, and the young Australian sapper is helping his explosive detection dog out of its dusty kit. The dog lies on a high post, back leg dangling, eyes at a level with its master's.
