About 2.20pm, SES volunteers were called to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics at a property in Kiama after a female slipped and it is believed fell more than a metre into an open stormwater drain. 

Rescue teams loaded the patient into a stokes litter and the woman, believed to be about 60 years old, was transported to hospital.

Her injuries sustained are believed to have included abrasions.
