KIAMA Quilters Guild recently gathered to celebrate their 30th birthday luncheon at the Kiama Community Centre.

The luncheon featured food baked by the group as well as a 30th birthday cake.
The luncheon was attended by current and past members Anne Breasley, Dulcie Benson, Patricia Stewart, Margaret Carmichael, Kathy Preddey, Marilyn Pepper and Robyn Hambly.
The group was originally formed by friends drawn together by their common love of sewing and quilting.
Although established in Kiama, members come from as far as Wollongong and Gerringong.
There is a strong focus on charity work.
Quilts have been donated to a number of worthy causes, including the Children’s Medical Research Institute Quilt Show in Gerringong each year.
The group meets every week on Wednesday at the Kiama Community Centre.
