The club achieved premierships in first grade, reserve grade and the under-16 girls.
The Breakers returned to women’s football in the Shoalhaven competition after a few years’ absence with a strong season, winning both first grade and reserve grade championships and premierships.
After six rounds both teams were top of the table.
First grade lost one of their star players, Gabbie Burns, to a college football scholarship at Lassen Community College, California mid-season, leaving a large hole in the midfield.
The Breakers were getting short on numbers, with 21 players used to finish the season.
The club paid tribute to Ash Camilleri, who moved to Sydney for work and came back for the finals, as well as others who played two games a week for most of the season.
The total of 21 players included two goal-keepers and 18 goal-scorers utilised.
Top goal-scorer in reserves was Kelsey Wishart with 10, and also four in first grade.
In first grade it was Jane Keel with 11, and Claire Farqhuar scored six in first grade, four in reserves and five in the finals series.
In the semi-finals, first grade performed strongly to beat United 1-0 and advance straight to the grand final.
They then defeated them 3-0 in the grand final during a commanding performance.
Helena Lee scored two goals and Jane Keel one.
Reserve grade lost to Sussex in the first semi-final, then beat Shoalhaven United to advance to the grand final where they won a tough encounter 1-0.
Claire Farqhuar scored the winner.
Gerringong Breakers’ under-16 girls also won their grand final.

In a heart-stopping ending after Georgia Culey put the Breakers ahead, United scored with the last kick of normal time, sending the game into extra time.
Katy Vicary scored the winner with seven minutes left, the Breakers defending stoutly to take the title.
