The club received the money as part of the government's $600,000 Veteran and Community Grants program, which was divided among 28 ex-service organisations around Australia.
Warilla branch secretary Barry Young said the package would fund renovations to the kitchen including new benches, tiles, a stove and new fridge.
"At the moment it's not up to standard, it needs a fair bit of work," he said.
"We have been very lucky in successfully getting three to four grants from the Department of Veterans' Affairs, including a new computer system, a big overhead projector and screen, printers and 21-seater bus."
Minister for Veterans' Affairs Michael Ronaldson said he was pleased to support grassroots projects that would enhance the lives of many in the veteran community.
"(The) program enables organisations across the country to continue to offer a range of activities, programs and services that enrich the quality of life of our veterans and their families," Senator Ronaldson said.
This round of grants funded a diverse range of projects and equipment, and other grants assist veterans to stay in touch and reduce social isolation by funding bus trips, new computers to produce member newsletters and a new bowling green.
