As part of Cupcake Day for the RSPCA, Emily has raised more than $500 over the past two years through her passion for the welfare of animals and commitment to the environment.
"I made some vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and ended up selling about 200 and rasing $280 this year," she said.
"I was watching a YouTube clip about some abandoned dogs and cats that were roaming the streets looking very rugged, without food and nobody helping them. I felt like I wanted to help them straight away.
"I thought if a group like the RSPCA had a bit more money maybe they will be able to help more animals, give them more shelter, food and more medicine for their injuries."
With support from her peers and the school, Emily sold out of the homemade cupcakes and raised $280, all of which will go to the RSPCA.
Last year, Emily organised a Cupcake Day stall at Balarang Public School and raised $230.
