As we celebrate Family History Month, author Dr Rie Natalenko will be giving a talk at Kiama Library on how best to gather, record and preserve family stories.
The talk will cover questions and triggers you can employ to facilitate storytelling, coping with common issues that elderly relatives have to telling stories, approaches to recording stories and the best ways to store all your research.
Dr Natalenko is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist, poet and short film-maker and has for many years been passionate about family history. The talk will take place in the auditorium underneath Kiama Library from 2.30pm to 4pm on Saturday, August 8.
