■ Tips from the Pros:
Players are often the ones given the tips. However, parents and coaches should also take on some advice.
Learning how to hit a tennis ball correctly and understanding the tactics of the game is the foundation of becoming a good player, but the off-court experience is equally important. Players need to surround themselves with positive, like-minded people.
Hard work is the key to being a great player. Sportsmanship is the key to being a great person.
