The shed was located in the main car park at Cec Glenholmes Oval and was set alight about 2pm on July 16, much to the annoyance of Gorillas junior president Bill Clark.
“We had 250 chairs that had been donated by the Roo Theatre Company, tackling bags and plastic bunting, so when the fire took hold it was fed by plastic and the shed was completely gutted,” Mr Clark said.
“By the time the fire brigade got on the scene, there was absolutely nothing they could do about it except save adjoining buildings.
“All that is left now is for us to arrange a scrap metal dealer or anyone who collects scrap metal to come and pick up the shed.

Gorillas senior president Don Kane said while he felt devastated for the juniors, it could have been much worse.
“The heat from the fire also caused some damage to the nearby seniors' gear shed.
“The heat from the fire was so severe it melted agility poles and water bottles in our shed, but luckily the flames didn’t spread to our shed or the canteen."
The pair was unanimous in their criticism of the vandalism.
“It really breaks my heart – we are all volunteers here and to see something like this happens it is devastating," Mr Clark said.
"Quite simply it's just mindless vandalism, but we have been around for a long time and have no choice but to just move on."
