About 2.15pm on Sunday, three juvenile males came under the notice of police after a witness informed police that she had observed the three boys walking with push bikes along Kalang Road, Kiama Heights all carrying tool boxes.
The witness stated that the young persons appeared to be trying to hide the boxes.
Police attended the location and spoke to the boys.
Two of the boys gave police false identification.
They were searched and a Makita angle grinder contained within a Makita carry case, a Makita electric plane contained within a Makita carry case and a ‘Black Ridge’ Air tool kit were found in their possession.
All three of the boys were taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station.
Two of the boys were charged with goods in custody suspected of being stolen.
They will appear before Kiama Local Court on August 3.
The other boy will undertake a youth conference in relation to the same offence.
