On Friday everyone pitched in and got their hands dirty in the garden, planting a variety of species in the hope of educating the nation about the value of preserving the environment.
Head of college Tony Cummings said the school had been actively regenerating the school grounds since they moved onto the site.
"Since we opened we have planted in excess of 10,000 different plants and trees," he said.
"We are very committed to regenerating the site, so this today is just a bonus."
Ashley Tory from Illawarra Toyota said the team were "very excited" and "thrilled" to be part of the annual event at Shellharbour Anglican College.
