A 30-year-old Sussex Inlet man was treated for minor injuries at the scene of a two-truck accident at Monga on the Kings Highway on Monday.

A Queanbeyan police spokesman said the man was driving an Isuzu 12-tonne truck east along the highway and a 54-year-old Liberty Grove man was driving a Scania prime mover towing a trailer in a westerly direction when they collided on a bend 2.9 kilometres west of the Mongarlowe River bridge at 3.15pm on Monday.
The bend was governed with double lines, and the two vehicles scraped along the length of each other before coming to a halt 90 metres apart.
The Isuzu was carrying alcohol and the Scania was carrying empty pallets.
The Sussex Inlet man was treated for a small scratch on his forehead, but otherwise there were no injuries.
There were two other witnesses to the accident and police are investigating it, but the police spokesman said charges were not likely to be laid.
Other than being on board one of the trucks, alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
The two vehicles will need to be taken to the RMS to receive clearance to drive again.
