POLICE on Thursday arrested a husband and wife from Fishermans Paradise on charges of supplying methylamphetamine, commonly known as ice.
The husband and wife, both aged 38, were arrested as part of coordinated raids by Strike Force Nello, formed in May to investigate the supply of the drug ice in the Batemans Bay area.
The man has been charged with two counts of supplying prohibited drugs; possessing prohibited drugs; possessing ammunition without holding a licence, permit or authority; and participating criminal group contributing to criminal activity.
It will be alleged he supplied a minimum of 25 grams of methylamphetamine on nine separate occasions between May 7 and July 3 2015.
The woman has been charged with three counts of supplying prohibited drugs; possessing prohibited drugs; possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit; and participating criminal group contributing to criminal activity.
Police allege this woman supplied a minimum of 10.5 grams of methylamphetamine on three occasions.
Both have been granted conditional bail to appear at Milton Local Court on Thursday, July 30.
Officers from Strike Force Nello also on Thursday executed a search warrant at a home in Sunshine Bay, arresting a 39-year-old woman.
She was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station, where she was charged with four counts of supplying prohibited drugs and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.
The woman was refused bail to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court tomorrow (Friday July 3).
It will be alleged that between May 7 and July 3 2015, the woman supplied a minimum of 24 grams of methylamphetamine on 241 occasions.
During the searches in Fishermans Paradise and Sunshine Bay, police allegedly seized quantities of methylamphetamine and cannabis, along with an electronic stun gun, and other items relevant to the investigation.
