The club had 27 acrobats selected in the NSW team for the titles in 10 separate groups, and won seven of the 17 gold medals on offer. They topped that off with two bronze medals, the highest of any club in Australia.

The club won all six of the trio sections on offer.

"Our coaches were amazed at our results, which came after months of hard work, with groups training up to 18 hours a week," head coach Kim Lacey said.

"This was our most successful National Championships ever."

Gold medallists were International 12-18 years trio Maddison Lacey, Mikayla Stephens and Molly Jewiss, International 12-18 years pair Grace Fairall and Jessica Adams, International 11-16 years trio Kristy Hay, Mykenna Collier and Mikayla Carr, Level 9 trio Lauren Farquhar, Taylah Doosey and Alexis Edwards, Level 8 trio Emily Apostolovski, Olivia Wilson and Kalila Stanley, Level 7 trio Caitlin O'Neil, Millie Savage and Mikayla Gumm and Level 6 trio Alana Cairns, Sophie Edwards and Charlotte Thompson.

Bronze medallists were International 11-16 years pair Jenna Irish and Maja Moore and Level 6 pair Belinda Bertram and Jemima Clarke, while the club's 10th group, the Level 9 trio of Jerrica Lovatt, Danielle Lovatt and Jorja Rogers, had to withdraw after the first routine when Jorja injured her knee in warmup.

Their International 12-18 and 11-16 years trios achieved the qualifying score necessary for the National Squad.

The club also won two Gymnastics Australia national awards for 2014 which were presented at the championships.

Kim Lacey won the National Coach of the Year for the third time, which she accepted on behalf of the club's coaches.

Maddison Lacey, Mikayla Stephens and Jessica Adams won the Junior International team of the year after their fabulous results at the 2014 World Age Championships in Paris, in which the 11-16 years trio were named first reserve for the final after two wonderful routines in qualifying.

"Since returning from Melbourne, the girls have enjoyed a couple of weeks of light training," Kim Lacey said.

"Training will build back up again with the National Club Championships being held in Bendigo at the end of September and then the International groups hoping to peak at their World Championship trials in November where they hope to be selected in the Australian team for the World Championships to be held in China in April 2016."

With some of the girls retiring after nationals, some of the groups will be reforming and the club is looking for gymnasts who are interested in trying a new gym sport.
