That Sydney University is embarking on reform is to be applauded – it used to be an Australian leader. The Vice-Chancellor wisely delayed launching his proposed overhaul until he was fully conversant with its culture and problems. But has now outlined the reforms aimed at revamping some of the institution's activities.
