The House Shout, first held four years ago, is intended to build community spirit and collaborative practice among the year 7 and year 12 students.
Each year, the houses choose a theme and create a musical performance based on it.
Performances have included parodies of Grease, Pink Floyd and Let's Get Physical by Olivia Newton John.
This year's competition was won by Hill House, who performed rousing renditions of contemporary Bruno Mars songs Lazy Song, Treasure and Uptown Funk.
“This year's performance proved to be simply outstanding and one would have to suggest the best one yet, with very little splitting the efforts of all four teams,” a school spokeswoman said.
“This was despite unavoidable interruption to rehearsals caused by the many academic and sporting activities happening around the college.”
House Shout co-ordinator Mrs Chris Forsyth, was thrilled by the efforts of the students and thankful for the support of her fellow staff members. She has vowed to create an even bigger and better spectacle in 2016 by focusing on the importance and power of positive teamwork.
“This year the crowd was supplemented with some overly excited parents who appeared to enjoy the show even more than the competitors, making this year’s competition one to remember,” the spokeswoman said.
