So says Linda Wiltshire, the producer of Wollongong's popular cabaret show Uncultured Chaos, which shows at the Basement, inside the Illawarra Master Builders Club, later this month.
As her burlesque alter ego, Sofonda Blackmen, Wollongong local Wiltshire has been performing as a dancer and burlesque artist for many years in the UK, Sydney and Wollongong.
"My aim is to bring the best burlesque and cabaret performances right here to Wollongong," Wiltshire said.
"Along with the glitter, tinsel and feather fans of classic burlesque we also have stand-up comedy, magic acts, local singers and even adult-only puppetry."
Wiltshire has managed to get some of the best burlesque artists from Sydney and Melbourne for the show, including 2014's Miss Burlesque NSW, Memphis Mae.
Uncultured Chaos: Burlesque and Cabaret Show is on May 16 from 7.30pm. Tickets are $20 at the door.
