The Sharks led 28-6 at the oranges at Centenary Field, their forwards' superior size and aggression laying the platform for a convincing victory.
Centre Kurt Field bagged a hat-trick, while Harold Snell and Dylan McGregor also scored doubles.
The visitors opened their account earlywhen the Park conceded a penalty in possession.
Halfback Matt Carroll nabbed a four-pointer against his former club, through a fortunate ricochet from his own grubber-kick.
Shellharbour's pack immediately steamrolled down-field, and spread it wide for Field to touch down.
Their attacking flair continued via back-to-back tries to Danny Sartori (also against his former side) and Jamie Manukonga.
Shortly before the break a deft Sartori ball found McGregor, who score under the black dot.
Shellharbour's overly ambitious play yielded a turnover, and the Park's Blake Jones won the race to the ball.
The visitors continuing to pile on the pointsupon the resumption.
Field finished off Hans Schuster's line break, and the latter was in the action again when his bomb was reeled in, and McGregor streaked away to make it 40-6.
Field's slick footwork and ensuing Carroll conversion brought up the half-century, and late efforts to Snell and Aaron McLachlan completed the rout.
Warilla-Lake South Gorillas bounced back from a heavy opening round loss to Shellharbour, comfortably accounting for Kiama Knights 22-12 at Cec Glenholmes Oval.
After trailing 6-4 at half-time, the home side, a howling southerly at their backs and their mobile pack in outstanding form, came home strongly.
Kiama were first to take advantage of the breeze when five-eighth Josh Toohey hoisted a bomb in front of the Gorillas posts and centre Travis Poole grabbed the rebound.
Gorillas winger Jarryd Pepper gathered a cross-field kick uncontested and cantered over.
Classy lead-up by new Warilla half Josh Kent meant Aaron Henry crashed under the posts just three minutes after half-time and five minutes later centre Blake Colgan powered over.
The Knights suffered a huge blow when inspirational skipper Luke Muttdon left the field injured, and at 18-6 it looked like a long second half for Kiama.
They managed to get back within striking distance when young back-rower Vaughan Thistlethwaite scored close to the posts to narrow the gap to just six.
However, a brilliant Chad Lisch individual try wrapped up the win.
Jamberoo opened their account for the season, but not before an epic battle against Berry Magpies at Kevin Walsh Oval on Saturday.
The home side scored a 16-14 win, but survived a nervous moment when Magpies fullback Josh Coulter missed an attempt to convert Blake Harris-Davis' 78th minute try from the sideline.
In other games, Nowra-Bomaderry's title defence hit another hurdle, losing 42-28 to Gerringong at Michael Cronin Oval. Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs beat Port Kembla Blacks 22-4 at Bill Andriskie Oval.
