On Thursday, Kiama council activated the new Wi-Fi network in time for the busy Easter holiday period.
To connect to the network, simply select Kiama Council free Wi-Fi in your phone or smart device settings.
The landing page for the Wi-Fi network is the Kiama Connect website, a community video sharing site.
So while you’re there, you can upload your Easter egg hunt videos to the Kiama Connect website and search online for fun things to do this long weekend in the Kiama municipality.
“The new Wi-Fi network provides a great service for residents and tourists spending time in the Kiama CBD,’’ general manager Michael Forsyth said.
‘‘This is a project which will provide tangible benefits for our community and help support our CBD businesses.
‘‘It’s also another great example of the initiative Kiama council is using to maximise our access to the NBN.’’
