On Neighbour Day (March 29) the first Good Neighbour pop-up exhibition - a backyard exhibition where people shared their positive stories about neighbours - was held at the Shellharbour Village Exhibition Space.
Another will be at Stockland Shellharbour this week.
The way people nominate "good neighbours" has also changed from previous years, giving people three ways to nominate.
Council is inviting residents to enjoy two street parties in April, with competitions, barbecue and some fun with the neighbours.
City west will party on Friday, April 10, from 4.30pm at John Shepherd Park, Albion Park. The party moves on Friday, April 17, to Village Green, Flinders.
The program will wrap up with an awards celebration.
Nomination details are available at shellharbour. nsw.gov.au.
