Students of the Grove Academy went along to Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) to pay a visit to the new arrival.
The students had been conducting aviation related activities throughout the week including making paper planes and runways for the children to re-enact the jet’s arrival.
In effort to make their theory more realistic the school went on excursion to the HARS Museum where they could see and interact with existing planes and the newly arrived Qantas 747.
Students were given their own cameras to best capture the excitement of the day as they strolled through the hanger getting acquainted with some aviation treasures.
