Gerroa is recognised as the safest beach in Australia for DSA surfing activities and the event's large attendances over recent years reflect the fact.
Disabled Surfing is continuing to expand across Australia and NZ with 15 branches.
"At last year's event at Gerroa over 300 participants, carers and volunteers had a great day surfing in complete safety with the help of our army of volunteers and that sums the DSA up beautifully, "South Coast branch secretary Sandra Gould said
"It's open to everyone to come and help, volunteers are particularly welcome - it's simply about 'putting smiles on dials - safely'," South Coast branch secretary Sandra Gould said.
Many local high schools in the Illawarra and the Shoalhaven have promoted the event. Past student response has always been very good.
The Gerroa longboard Club Malnutrition are the traditional hosts with support from the Kiama Tourist Council and the Gerroa Fisherman and Boating Club.
Sign-in is from 9am to 9.30am at Emery Park, on the northern side of the Crooked River at Gerroa.
