Latin-infused jazz, rockabilly blues, boogie, gumbo and swing were all on offer at the 28th annual festival.
Between 5000 to 10,000 people attended the three-day event, which featured more than 70 free gigs at dozens of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars.
Festival committee member Eevi Stein said blues act The Foreday Riders, Sydney-based Pena Flamenca, Ray Beadle Band, Chris Harland Blues Band and Clayton Doley’s Bayou Billabong were among the favourites.
‘‘It was a fantastic weekend. There were heaps of people around; most venues were pretty well at capacity,’’ she said. ‘‘Everywhere I went to seemed to be great, with people really enjoying the music.
‘‘We have some musical genius around and we’re lucky to have them showing their talent.’’
