Ken Osborne, who farms his aunt Margaret Osborne's dairy farm, Harrisville, at Curramore, has been successful in all of the first three national shows in which he has entered Harrisville's brown Swiss stock.
At the 2015 International Dairy Week Show at Tatura, near Shepparton, Victoria, Curramore Tiney Jeff 2nd placed second in the brown Swiss heifer 18 months to two years' class; Curramore Clarrie Tornado won second in her brown Swiss 12 months to 18 months' class, and Curramore Motel Tornado 2nd was third in the under 12 months' heifer class.
Not to be outdone by the girls, Mr Osborne won the show's Exhibitor Encouragement Award.
Mr Osborne said the continued success meant international recognition, and he was pleased hard work had been rewarded.
He said the awards enabled farmers to "go places with the stud cattle".
