As part of the Our Time Our Place project, the chalk art murals ware on display at Stockland Shellharbour.
The artworks were inspired by stories shared by people from Warilla Senior Citizen's Centre and Shell Cove Community Centre groups with young people from Lake Illawarra High School and Youth Off the Streets participants.
The artworks depict the local physical landscape drawn by the young people from a shared perspective of they and the older people.
Professional artists from Chalk Talk assisted the young people with their drawings in December. From Wednesday, January 28 to Sunday, February 1 they will feature at the Shellharbour Village Exhibition Space (SVES), along with photos and a time lapse film of the mural creation process.
The exhibition launch will be held 2pm at the SVES on the corner of Wentworth and Addison Streets, Shellharbour Village.
